Asante Kotoko have appointed Maxwell Konadu as their new coach on a permanent contract.
He replaces Kjetil Zachariassen who was sacked for poor performance.
Konadu signed a two-year renewable contract in Kumasi on Monday.
The club has quickly found a permanent replacement following the sacking of the Norwegian gaffer last month.
The former Black Stars assistant coach has been tasked to win the domestic league and qualify the team to the CAF Champions League.
The Porcupine Warriors turned their sights on their former gaffer to return the team to its lost glory.
Konadu, 47, is a cult hero after guiding the team to their 22nd Premier League title.
