Here are top 4 events to hit Sunyani ahead of Christmas celebration


Christmas (which means “Feast day of Christ”) is a Christian holiday that refers to the birth of Jesus (whom Christians believe is the Son of God), and a cultural holiday for non-Christians.

During Christmas festival a lots of events and activities happen around the world, especially in Ghana.

In Bono region, residents in Sunyani and beyond, will remember this year’s Christmas as top events or activities has been line up in Sunyani starting from 24th to 1st Jan. 2020.

1.24th December 2019( 24th Night)

The legendary Abrantie Amakye Dede will perform with his Apollo High Kings Band, on December 24th, 2019 at the Tyco City Hotel in Sunyani.

2. 25th December,2019 (CHRISTMAS DAY)

After hosting over thousand patrons at the Accra International Conference Centre and Miklin Hotel, in the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi for the celebration of 20 years since the release of his Pae Mu Ka album, Legendary hiplife artiste, Obrafour will be staging a sequel of “Pae Mu Ka” at 20 concert at the Tyco City Hotel in Sunyani on 25th Dec.2019.

3. 29th December 2019

Awarding winning Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Livingstone Etse Satekla, aka Stonebwoy will thrill fans at the Baffour Sports Complex at Nsoatre in Sunyani on Sunday, December 29, 2019.

Dubbed ‘A Nite With Stonebwoy put together by BA Events will have performances from Strongman, Bono rapper-Kooko and other artistes.

4. 1st January 2020 (New Year Celebration)

The music maestro Julius Kojo Antwi known in the showbiz world as Kojo Antwi over the years has rocked the industry with mixed genres from afro pop, reggae and highlife tracks which swept the nation off its feet.

Mr “Music Man” together with Ofori Amponsah,Sunyani based Musician, Kwame Ghana and among others will rock music lovers at the Eusbett International Conference Centre (EICC) in Sunyani on 1st January 2020.
