The flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Mahama has ended the first day of his #SpeakOut tour of the Western North Region with a community durbar at Ashiem where, once again, the people recounted the developmental focus of previous National Democratic Congress (NDC) administrations.
Mr Mahama pledged to ensure the total development of our country, focusing on the provision of essential social services and also critical infrastructure that is needed to propel growth.
A major request of the people of Ashiem is the provision of a CHPS compound, and it is one of the key deliverables for the new NDC Government in 2021.
The exercise dubbed “SpeakOut with John Mahama” give the former president an opportunity to interact and listen directly to the concerns of the people, especially at the grassroots.
He thanked the chief of the town, Nana Yaw Manso III, the opinion leaders and the people for their warm reception.
