The National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi, has taken a swipe at government by saying the 2016 campaign promises by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo were all aimed at hoodwinking innocent Ghanaians.
He stated that one of the promises, One Village One Dam, has not seen the light of the day since the New Patriotic Party (NPP) took over governance.
That policy, meant for selected villages in the north, was the subject matter of NDC’s latest Moment of Truth series held at Nakpachee in the Yendi Constituency in the Northern Region of Ghana.
Sammy Gyamfi addressed the series.
The location of the event has raised hackles as it comes barely a month after party officials led by Sammy Gyamfi talked strongly about the devastating effect of galamsey on the banks of the Pra River.
On Wednesday, March 11, the NDC Communications Officer said they have penned down some names of current government appointees who will face the law for causing financial loss to the state.
He said the likes of Mavis Hawa Koomson, the Minister of Special Development Initiatives, would answer in court when the NDC comes to power sooner or later “as long as the world does not come to an end”.
