COVID-19: Akufo-Addo extends partial lockdown by one week

The Government has extended the two-week partial lockdown in Accra, Tema, Kasoa and Kumasi by additional one-week to help prevent the further spread of the coronavirus.

This was announced by President Akufo-Addo at a televised address to the nation on Thursday, 9 April 2020.

Ghana’s COVID-19 cases have risen to 378 as at 9 April 2020 with six deaths, two in critical condition and three full recoveries.
