“Let us together use these Easter celebrations pray to our Lord to seek his divine intervention in this fight against coronavirus (COVID 19)”,Hon. Evelyn Ama Kumi- Richardson, the Bono Regional Minister urged Ghanaians.
According to the Minister,Easter marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord, and a day to remember his pain and suffering,”but this year Easter in Ghana is different because the nation and even around the world continues its battle against the coronavirus pandemic”.
Hon. Evelyn Ama Kumi Richardson in her Easter message to Ghanaians,especially Bono region residents and copied Pulsenewsgh.com said, “Easter reminds us that hope must never be lost for as dark as the road may seem, there always lies light at the end of it. This show that coronavirus pandemic outbreak will end and life will get back to normal” she stated.
“This is the time to repent for all our sins and thank God for all his blessings over us. Let us also prepare ourselves for the returning of Christ. May all our prayers be fulfilled, whatever your religious views might be, I do wish you a Happy Easter” she said.
“But, remember, this Easter we are staying at home. Don’t travel. Don’t go away and we should continuing wash our hands with soap and running water and also use hand sanitizers often” she stated
