Rihanna’s dad, Ronald Fenty, revealed he feared for his life after battling coronavirus.
The 66-year-old opened up about his illness, heaping praise on his daughter – real name Robyn Fenty – for checking up on him every day.
In fact, he explained the devoted Diamonds singer, 32, even managed to obtain a ventilator, shipping it to his Caribbean home.
‘My daughter Robyn was checking in on me every day,’ he said. ‘I thought I was going to die, to be honest. I have to say, I love you so much, Robyn.
‘She did so much for me. I appreciate everything she has done.’
Ronald said the illness – which has infected more than one million people around the world – left him sure that he would die.
Discussing his symptoms, he recalled getting a fever ‘up inside’ his nose and ‘across his lips’.Ad
Thankfully, doctors declared that he was free of Covid-19 after spending 14 days in quarantine at the Paragon Isolation Center.
‘I feared the worst. I thought I was going to die, honestly,’ he added to the Sun.
Rihanna has donated more than $5million (£4.2m) to help aid coronavirus relief through her Clara Lionel Foundation, giving millions of dollars to help those on the ‘frontlines of the disaster’.
