Five thousand boxes, each filled with a month’s supply of food, has been packed and ready to be delivered to some selected homes.

This forms part of efforts to cushion the vulnerable during the lockdown that has been imposed on Accra, Kasoa, Kumasi and Tema by President Akufo-Addo.

With over 200 workers and volunteers drawn from the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), the various Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) and social workers, packaging of the food began at the Presbyterian Boys Senior High School at Madina on Sunday, April 19.
