As part of efforts to resource the party to secure a landslide victory for President Nana Akufo-Addo on December 7th elections,the former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman for Brong Ahafo region, Lawyer Kwaku Asomah Cheremeh has donated motorbikes to constituencies in the Bono region.
The former Regional Minister for Brong Ahafo Region,who is currently Minister of Lands and Natural Resources, Lawyer Kwaku Asomah- Cheremeh,on Wednesday,30th September,2020 donated 48 motorbikes to twelve (12) constituencies in the region, ahead of the impending general elections.
Making the presentation at the office of the NPP in all the twelve constituencies he visited,Lawyer Kwaku Asomah- Cheremeh said the move is to assist them perform their duties diligently without hitches and also to enable the them to travel to the grassroots to canvass for more votes ahead of the upcoming general election.
“This is my personal contribution to help the party towards this year elections to enable us win all the seats in the region”,he said.
This comes as one of the many interventions, the former chairman is undertaking to strengthen the party and ensure it wins the December elections massively in the region.
Already, he has donated a brand new Nissan Pick up Vehicle to the Bono Regional NPP Youth Organizer, among other things.
He urged others to emulate his example by putting their resources to help the party.
Each constituency received four motorbikes,the receiving constituencies were Berekum East, Berekum West,Jaman North, Jaman South,Dormaa East,Dormaa Central,Dormaa West,Banda,Tain, Wenchi, Sunyani West and Sunyani East constituency.
Sunyani East constituency chairman Mr. Musah Damtarrh, who speaks on behalf of the twelve constituencies, thanked the Minister for his wonderful gesture in ensuring that the party wins more votes for President Akufo-Addo and secure the remaining parliamentary seats in the region as well.
“We will use it to ensure victory becomes the hallmark of our party ( NPP) coming December 7th” he said.
