‘Happy Day’ song is not an endorsement for you – Sarkodie to Prez Akufo-Addo

Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie says his ‘Happy Day’ song in which he showered praises on President Akufo-Addo and campaigned for him is not an endorsement song as perceived.

The rapper was taken to the cleaners by some members of the NDC after his song went viral on social media.

The president even tweeted commending the rapper for the song especially when the song captured the ‘Battle is the Lord’s’ message which the president used for his campaign in 2016.

But Sarkodie says his song is not an endorsement for Nana Addo. You might also like..

His tweet read: ”“Nana M3nfa bronya ho nre akoko oo lool [Nana, don’t take advantage of this] !! when I say aban ( all parties ) Shouts to yourself x JM but if i feel like pointing out the negatives too you know how we do.”

Meanwhile, the president has deleted his earlier tweet in which he commended the rapper in it.
