Justice Amoa, also known as Patapaa, a hiphop performer, has expressed his displeasure with his peers’ frequent usage of derogatory terms to describe him.
He admitted that the widespread mocking he has received from his peers in the music industry has harmed the growth of his brand and harmed his career.
“I’ve lost the respect of a lot of individuals in the industry as a result of some derogatory lyrics sung about me by other artists.” It has had a bad impact on my profession, halting my progression as a musician,” he lamented.
The ‘One Corner’ singer claimed that, unlike other well-known musicians, he has been largely mistreated in the entertainment industry.
People, he believes, should treat him with respect and refrain from portraying him in a negative light.
Patapaa recently launched an attack on Sarkodie and his wife, claiming that the rapper and other musicians had harmed his business. However, this did not sit well with many industry participants.
“People have said a lot of negative things about me after my comments about Sarkodie, but they don’t see the damage he’s done to my brand.” I’ve lost ambassadorial deals because of some of his song’s wordplays, which I think is unfair,” he says.
“Sometimes I believe the music industry is unfair to me,” he told GNA in an interview, “and my family and friends also feel upset by some ugly words used on me.”
Patapaa has stated that he will not apologize to Sarkodie unless he receives an unequivocal apology from the latter.
