Livingstone Etse Satekla, better known as Stonebwoy in the music industry, will host the 5th edition of his annual musical extravaganza titled “Bhim Concert” in Accra in December.
The event is being held to honour Stonebwoy’s achievements in the Ghanaian music industry as well as to entertain his many fans, according to BEATWAVES. However, the date, venue, and artists scheduled to perform have yet to be announced.
Bhim Concert is one of Ghana’s finest-organized musical events, bringing together the best artists with chart-topping tunes on one stage to thrill thousands of music fans.
The headliner, Stonebwoy, will perform alongside award-winning Jamaican dancehall artist Beenie Man, born Anthony Moses Davis, this year.
The performance is expected to draw a large crowd of music fans from all walks of life, with Beenie Man as one of the performing international acts on the lineup. In 2005, the Jamaican dancehall performer performed his first concert in Ghana.
The two renowned Ghanaian and Jamaican dancehall artists, who have played at several international events, are expected to deliver energetic performances to make the concert unforgettable.
“Glad to announce that The King of the Dancehall, Beenie Man will be joining us in Ghana this December for the #BHIMCONCERT,” Stonebwoy said on Facebook on December 1.
The festival will also showcase an exceptional line-up of homegrown hiplife, hip-hop, highlife, and afrobeat artists who are sure to delight music aficionados.
The Bhim Concert is part of Stonebwoy’s mission to promote his enviable brand, local artistes (both established and up-and-coming), or bands, and engage with his grassroots consumers while showcasing Ghana’s musical richness.
Stonebwoy recently organized a three-city musical tour in the United Kingdom to excite music enthusiasts.
He performed in London’s O2 Academy Islington, Birmingham’s Academy 3, and Manchester’s O2 Institute 3.
