The Ghanaian vocalist has responded to rumors that the ‘E Choke’ hitmaker underwent surgery to obtain her slender waist.
When asked how she deals with the claims, Nana Ama McBrown, the host of United Showbiz, had this to say.
“I believe it’s just folks who want to know everything there is to know about you.” But that doesn’t matter since I always say that if I wake up and discover anything I don’t like about myself, maybe there’s a pimple. I’m not going to wait for Empress to tell me to take it down before doing so.
“Because I am highly confident in myself.” I’m not interested in anyone else’s business. If I see a problem, I will address it. I’m not waiting for a celebrity to tell me that they’ve done this or that.”
Sefa believes that her personal life should not be the center of attention. Because she is a performer, and the only thing that should concern people is her music.
“They always say, ‘You’ll come back and tell us you went to the gym,'” she says. You’ve got nothing to do with it. What really counts is the music I’m playing for you. You pay me to be a musician because you pay me to be a musician. You don’t have to pay me to tell you about my past.
“I haven’t done anything, but people want to believe whatever they want.” Sefa concluded, “That’s their problem.”
