Deloris Frimpong Manso, a popular Ghanaian television personality known as “Delay,” has won the GOWA 2021 “Outstanding Woman Of The Year” award for the second time.

The 4th edition of the event, which featured Tasty Tom as the lead sponsor, was held on Friday, October 1, 2021, at the Marriott Hotel in Accra.

Delay, who collected the prize with tears flowing down her cheeks, remembered how she was previously homeless and had no one but her sister for help.

“From being homeless to owning a home, from not knowing what to eat to being an entrepreneur with a company that gives food to Ghanaians, I’ve come a long way. It’s a miracle, and it’s all because of God. I’d want to dedicate this prize to my sister and my mother’s beautiful memory.”

“And to Mrs. Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, Chief Executive Officer of ASKOF Productions (organizers of GOWA), thank you so much for your affection. Finally, Delay, what can I do without you? I’m so glad you all came to support your sister,” she explained.

Nana Obiribea (Akuapem-Obosomase Gyaasehemaa), Ansaa Sasraku (Akuapem-Larteh Akwamuhene Ankobeahemaa), Nana Tiaah Ampem Darkoa (Akuapem Apirede-Mawerehemaa), and Mamaga Akua Sabea Nyabo VII (Paramount Queen

The evening featured performances by Ohemaa Woyeje, a radio host and musician, as well as Jamaican K Genius Praye and other performers.
