There are some foods that you should completely avoid eating before going to bed. These foods can either cause constipation or make you feel uncomfortable in the night. Below are foods that you should avoid eating before you go to sleep.

GARRI

This is a very heavy meal and should not be eaten before bedtime. It takes a long time to digest because it is very heavy. You should completely avoid eating this food in the night because it won’t digest and it will end up making you feel heavy and may even lead to constipation.

BREAD

This is another heavy meal and should not be eaten in the night. Bread is heavy so, it may be hard for it to digest and this may lead to constipation when you wake up.

Just like garri, yam is also very heavy and takes a long time to digest. Eating yam before going to bed can make you feel uncomfortable because it does not digest easily.
