Haaland Creates Stare After Appearing To Wave Goodbye To Dortmund Fans

In the midst of Real Madrid interest, Erling Haaland has caused alarm at Borussia Dortmund after appearing to wave goodbye to fans.

The hotshot striker, 21, is one of Europe’s hottest properties, having scored 76 goals in only 74 appearances for the German side in all competitions since joining from Red Bull Salzburg in December 2019.

And after Dortmund’s 3-0 triumph over Bundesliga strugglers Greuther Furth on Wednesday, their final home encounter of the calendar year, Haaland appeared to indicate his departure to Dortmund fans.

Many of Europe’s major teams are interested in Norwegian prodigy Haaland, with Manchester United, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich all expressing interest.

And Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke told BILD that the club’s ties to Real Madrid were “genuine,” before stating that he may stay at the Signal Iduna Park.

United are also interested, but Haaland’s personal team has reportedly advised United that they must compete in the Champions League for him to really contemplate a move.

Ralf Rangnick’s team is now sixth in the Premier League, just outside of the European places.

‘I saw the images afterwards, too,’ Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc stated when asked about Haaland’s behavior. It seems odd, but I don’t believe it was done on purpose.

‘I chatted with him briefly again, and that isn’t an issue in the team.’ “What is this?” I inquired. He responded, “Nothing at all.” That’s all there is to it.’
