First of all before you enter into a relationship,you should know why you are entering into that relationship and make sure that your partner also wants the same thing. For example if you want the relationship to lead to marriage and your partner on the other hand does not want that then there is nothing you will do in that relationship that will make it to lead to marriage because that was not the intention of your partner. Once you are sure that you and partner want the same thing, then you can do these things to make sure that the relationship leads to marriage.

1. Tackle any problem that can affect your relationship. If you want to build a relationship that will lead to marriage, then you should be ready to tackle any problem that will affect your relationship negatively as it grows. You should learn to settle your misunderstandings immediately so that it does not lead to something bigger and then maybe lead to a breakup later on.

2. Learn to care for each other. In a relationship, you should learn to care for each other. You should make sure that you out your partner first in everything you do. You should show them love and affection. This way your partner will grow more attached to you and would want to spend the rest of his or her life with you.

3. Learn to give your partner space when necessary. You should learn to give your partner space when it is needed. You should not always be around your partner, you should learn to allow them to have some time for themselves too.

4. Do not make lovemaking the center of attraction in the relationship. Lovemaking is important in a relationship but not as important in marriage. You should avoid excessive lovemaking this way it will help to define the relationship. If you must make love then you should do it moderately.
