HOW TO MAKE A GOOD IMPRESSION ON A FIRST DATE

0 0

When going on a first date, it is okay to be nervous. Everyone would want to make a really good impression on a first date so you won’t end up making the other person regret going on a date with you. Below are some ways to make a really good impression on your first date.

1. COME ON TIME

This is the first and most important rule. Coming late and keeping the other person waiting does not tell good of you and is a very bad way to start a date. It ends up making you leave a bad first impression already. If you must arrive late maybe because of unforseen circumstances, you should call to inform the other person and explain things to him/her.

2. DO NOT OVERDRESS BUT LOOK YOUR BEST

Your appearance is the first thing the other person notices about you. Dress properly and look your best. For ladies, avoid dresses that are too revealing and avoid too much jewelries and heavy makeup. For men, take good care of your appearance, have a good shave and wear neat clothes.

3. PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR DATE

No one would like the idea of you pressing your phone or getting distracted by other things when he or she is talking to you. When on a date, you must pay maximum attention to the other person. Also, talking about only yourself, give the other person chance to also speak.

4. AVOID INTERROGATING YOUR DATE

No one would like to be interrogated and bombarded with many questions on a first date. Make any question you are to ask very friendly and avoid interrogation. Avoid questions like “where do you work, how much is your salary, do you have a house etc”.

5. OBSERVE TABLE MANNERS

When on a date you should learn to observe your table manners. Avoid talking while there is still food in your mouth, avoid spilling food all over the table, avoid over eating.
