Nana Ama Mcbrown, an award-winning actress, may be seen on billboards for a variety of goods, but there is one thing she will never promote: bleaching chemicals.

In an interview with Abeiku Santana, the actress, who promotes several brands like Hisense, Amalina Children’s Home, Tasty Tom, and many others, said that she will never represent bleaching products, no matter how lucrative it is.

Mrs Mensah, speaking on Okay FM’s drive-time show, revealed that when presented with creams, she conducts thorough research to ensure that she does not promote anything harmful to the skin.

“I’ve contacted the FDA, and I’ve checked and read your certificate.” I’m familiar with the ingredients in creams that cause you to bleach. So if I read something and realize it won’t benefit me, I’ll bring it back to you,” she explained to Abeiku Santana.

“If you look at the brand I’ve developed over the last twenty years with the support of God and Ghanaians, you think I’m going to follow the modest money you offer me, so what should I do when someone hurts?” she continued.

The mother of one also said she prays to God that she never gets engaged in a brand that would cause her issues later on, as has happened with other celebrities.
