His remarks follow on the heels of some Ghanaian music fans who are constantly criticizing artists for failing to win the prestigious award. Even Bob Marley, according to the ‘TINA’ singer, doesn’t have a Grammy, but that doesn’t mean the legendary reggae singer isn’t talented.

He emphasizes that they should focus on harnessing their talents and showing the world what they can do with them because many artists have accomplished a great deal without the Grammys.

“I think we have to be careful not to equate the Grammys with talent. Ghana has some of the best talent in the world,” he told Andy Dosty.

“In the afrobeats scene, Ghana has contributed more than any other country in the world, second only to Nigeria. We have broken records that no one has ever broken before, so Ghana, in my opinion, is far superior to the Grammys,” he added.
