The Ghana Police Service’s Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit has arrested a 30-year-old carpenter from Okorase in Koforidua in the Eastern Region for kidnapping a 14-year-old girl.
Despite requests for him to stop, the man allegedly detained the youngster for five days and sexually molested her.
According to the woman, the suspect, Keteku Enock Yaw, had sexual relations with her four times a day and confined her in her room whenever he went away.
The victim’s mother, a prophetess, wants the culprit dealt with by the law.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday, the suspect appeared in court and was remanded in police custody.
