NDC Directs Members To Go For Ghana Card After Criticising It

0 51

The opposition National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) Functional Executive Committee (FEC) has finally directed its members to register for the ongoing statewide roll-out of the National Identification Card, often known as the Ghana Card, after previously condemning it.

The continuous effort is critical for the party, according to the party, because the Card has become a must for many transactions in the country.

In a statement to the Regional Chairmen, the party’s Deputy General Secretary, Peter Boamah Otorkunor, said that party members should go to the NIA offices in all regions and districts across the country to get registered.
“FEC directs that all Regional Chairmen ensure that proper processes are put in place as a matter of urgency for our members in all districts to register for the card,” the statement stated.
