The monthly premier league award winners have been announced via the premier league site, with Thomas Tuchel and Mo Salah bagging in the monthly award for October 2021.

Thomas Tuchel has claimed the Barclays Manager of the Month award for October 2021.

The Chelsea head coach wins the prize for the second time, having first done so in March 2021, after leading his side to victory in all four of their matches in the month.

Tuchel started October with a 3-1 victory at home to Southampton, followed by a hard-fought 1-0 success at Brentford.

He then oversaw a 7-0 triumph over Norwich City, before ending the month with a 3-0 win at Newcastle United as they claimed a third successive clean sheet.

The 48-year-old German topped a four-man shortlist, beating Jurgen Klopp, David Moyes and Patrick Vieira after votes from the public were combined with those of a panel of football experts.

Salah wins EA SPORTS Player of the Month award

Mohamed Salah has been named the EA SPORTS Player of the Month for October 2021.

Salah scored five goals and claimed four assists for Liverpool in October, starting with a magnificent individual effort against Manchester City at Anfield.

He produced another stunning solo goal in a 5-0 win at Watford, before claiming a hat-trick as Liverpool recorded their biggest away win against Manchester United by the same scoreline.

He registered one assist in each of his four October matches, concluding with his pass to set up Jordan Henderson’s strike in the 2-2 home draw with Brighton & Hove Albion.

It is the fourth time Salah has earned the EA SPORTS Player of the Month award and his first since March 2018.

The Egyptian topped an eight-man shortlist that also included Ben Chilwell, Maxwel Cornet, Phil Foden, Tino Livramento, Aaron Ramsdale, Declan Rice and Youri Tielemans.

The Liverpool winger adds to EA SPORTS Player of the Month with Goal award for solo effort v Man City

Mohamed Salah has completed a Premier League awards double for October by winning the Budweiser Goal of the Month. 

Salah, who has also been named the EA SPORTS Player of the Month for October, takes the Goal award for his superb solo effort for Liverpool against Manchester City.

He showed sublime skill and strength to weave through a crowd of three Man City players, twisted and turned past a fourth in Aymeric Laporte and drilled a a shot past Ederson from a tight angle in a thrilling 2-2 draw at Anfield.

The goal one of his two Budweiser Goal of the Month nominees for October, repeating the trick with another dazzling solo run and finish at Watford.

It is the second time that the Egyptian has claimed the award, first winning it in January 2021 after his brilliant counter-attacking goal at West Ham United.

He is also the first winner of the Player and Goal award in the same month since Jesse Lingard did so with West Ham in April 2021.

Salah’s Man City goal was chosen by a panel of experts combined with a public vote, beating his strike at Vicarage Road and six other contenders.
