Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah, the Head Pastor of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, and three others who are now in police prison will stand in court today, Monday, September 13, 2021, for storming the home of Agradaa, a converted fetish priestess.
The Ghana Police Service arrested Prophet Owusu Bempah and three of his associates, Michael Boateng, Frederick Ohene, and Nathaniel Agyekum, at his residence on Sunday evening.
They were charged with “creating and disseminating various recordings containing threats, as well as flashing a firearm and assaulting some police officers.”
The offenders were apprehended “after extensively evaluating the said films and based on intelligence acquired,” according to the police.
At Agradaa’s house, the Prophet was seen with his men, some of whom were armed, threatening her to step out of her room if she was brave enough.
After she dared him to come close her for a lesson, they proceeded to the converted fetish priestess’ house.
His guys are said to have assaulted the police officers who had arrived to make the arrest.
Two other individuals are thought to be on the run and being tracked down.
According to the statement, the officers who were hurt received medical attention.
