As AC Milan handed Jose Mourinho his first home defeat as Roma manager, Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored his 150th Serie A goal.
On Sunday, the visitors won 2-1 at the Stadio Olimpico to keep pace with Serie A leaders Napoli.
After a bustling start, the 40-year-old striker put the visitors ahead with a low free-kick into the bottom corner in the 25th minute, his 400th goal in domestic competitions.
After the break, Ibrahimovic’s superbly completed second was called out for offside, exactly as teammate Rafael Leao’s in the first half.
He was subsequently brought down by Roger Ibanez, earning a penalty kick, which Franck Kessie converted in the 57th minute.
After left defender Theo Hernandez was issued a second yellow card, Milan were reduced to ten men for the remaining 25 minutes.
However, Roma’s late goal by Stephan El Shaarawy was insufficient to save the game.
