During the eighth-week league encounter between Hearts and Elmina Sharks in Elmina, Accra’s head coach, Samuel Boadu, was rushed to the Elmina Government Hospital.
During the game, the Coach, who was on the lines, complained of dizziness, which worsened as the game progressed.
Officials from the Stadium’s health department had to rush him to the hospital for treatment.
Mr. Kwame Opare Addo, the coach’s public relations officer, stated to GNA Sports that the coach was now receiving treatment at a hospital and that the coach’s health status would be revealed following the medical officers’ report.
Hearts defeated Elmina Sharks 1-0 in the Ndoum Sports Stadium, and the coach was unable to see out the game as his two assistants, Hamza Obeng and Nii Noi, led the team to victory.
Boadu was brought to the hospital for the second time last year after collapsing during a match against AshantiGold SC.
