Sarkodie, a well-known Ghanaian rapper, has explained why he does not do remixes of his songs.
He stated that he does not perform remixes. Because a second take always robs him of the enthusiasm and feelings he felt during the first.
Sarkodie revealed this during a conversation with Tilly Akua Nipaa on One Play Africa.
Sarkodie stated, “I don’t do remixes for my songs since I usually can’t do it again after I do the first take.”
The most decorated rapper also shared some of his favorite moments with his team. “My Friends and I are Trolls,” stated the SarkCess leader. Sark made fascinating insights about himself and his team in this chat with Tilly Akua Nipaa. And his work, and how he has managed to remain relevant and consistent for over a decade.
Sarkodie went on to reveal that he and his friends are trolls. Unlike how others view him, he enjoys having a good time with his colleagues; they laugh a lot and taunt each other. That is one of his favorite memories from his time with his team.
Sarkodie also stated in the interview that he has yet to shoot a video that he would rank 100 percent. He enjoys technicalities, but lacks the requisite knowledge to make his desires a reality.
He stated that he is focused on having the correct angle and shot, and that he has yet to see anything that he would grade 100 percent.
He explained, “I’m very specific when it comes to photos; the only issue is that I don’t have the technical skill to tell somebody or a photographer that this is exactly what I want, but I have it here (in head).”
