Sterling expresses his support for former Manchester City teammate Sergio Aguero.

On Sunday evening, Manchester City player Raheem Sterling took to social media to offer Sergio Aguero a message of well-wishes.

Over the previous 24 hours, the name of Argentine hitman Sergio Aguero has naturally dominated the news.

But, regrettably, for very troubling reasons.

First, during Barcelona’s La Liga match against Alaves on Saturday night, the 33-year-old fell down in a frightening manner off the ball, seemingly gasping for air while grabbing his chest:

As a result, Aguero was dragged off the field and brought to a local hospital.

Following the conclusion of their 1-1 draw with Alaves, the Blaugrana stated that the former Manchester City star had experienced “an episode of chest discomfort,” prompting a series of cardiac tests:

And, if the latest news from the Spanish media is to be believed, such tests did not yield the anticipated results, amid reports that Aguero is suffering from a heart arrhythmia:

As a result, all eyes have been on the Camp Nou as Barcelona fans and neutrals alike wait for an update on Aguero’s health.

As previously said, one of the veteran attacker’s former colleagues delivered a message of support to the Barca star on Sunday evening.
