Pregnancy is a very crucial time in a woman’s life especially at the early stage. There are things you should avoid eating as a pregnant woman as these things can lead to a miscarriage or can cause harm to the unborn baby. Below are the things you should avoid eating as a pregnant woman.

UNDERCOOKED MEAT
This is one thing you should really avoid if you are pregnant. Undercooked meat has a bacteria that is present in it which can cause harm to the baby in your womb. So, you should ensure that you boil or cook your meat very well before eating to prevent any problem.
CAFFEINE
This is another thing women should avoid taking. When you are pregnant, your body needs enough rest if not you might cause harm to the baby. So, as a pregnant woman you should avoid caffeine.
ALCOHOL
When you are pregnant, you should avoid taking alcohol as this contains some substances that is not good for the unborn baby and can be very harmful to it. Also, taking alcohol during pregnancy can lead to ectopic pregnancy.
FOODS WITH RAW EGGS
Raw egg contains a bacteria which is very harmful to the unborn baby. This bacteria can cause harm to the baby. There are some foods that contain raw eggs in them so you should avoid them.
Other foods which may be harmful to pregnant woman but has not been proven are:- pineapple, high mercury fish, some types of fish etc.
