You should also state what you want and need in a relationship and make sure your partner agrees with them because, for a relationship to be healthy both of you have to be on the same page.

Communication is very necessary when it comes to relationships. For a relationship to be healthy,you and your partner must learn to communicate. No matter the situation both of you face or the conflict you have, you must still be able to sit together and talk about the problems and ways to solve them. This is what makes a relationship healthy.

Affectionate touch helps to keep the love strong. Get affectionate with each other. Frequently kissing, hugging and holding hands as you walk together is very important in a relationship and helps you both bond.
