    Combine 1 cup quinoa and 2 cups water in a deep saucepan.

    Bring to a boil, turn to low heat, cover the pot and cook until all water is absorbed (about 10-15 minutes).

    Remove the quinoa and drain the water in a bowl.

    Chop the basil and parsley and mix into the quinoa.

    Add raisins,Chickpeas, almonds and olive oil.

    Season with salt and pepper.
